Project Objective
My go to app for tracking my scores, shots, distances and everything you can think of for golf. I love the app but it never offered a dark version.
The Challenge
Some may know, a round of golf takes time (and on the weekends upwards of 5+ hours!). If you don’t have a power source to keep your phone charged, then running an app to keep your score can be stressful once you see that 20% battery warning. Having an app in dark mode reduces power assumption and helps you retain that phone juice for longer.
The App Design
This new dark mode designs gives you the same functionality as the original, but gives you a better viewing when out on the course that isn’t harsh on your eyes (such as a lot of white on the screen).

The Results
As a UI concept, this will be a great addition to the Hole 19 app and will help everyday golfers dealing with low power modes and dead phones.
